My name is Abigail Julian and I am pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion and Textiles with a concentration in Merchandising at SUNY Oneonta. I have been accepted into the One-Year visiting program that the Fashion Institute of Technology has in partnership with SUNY Oneonta. In my senior year, I will be completing my bachelor’s degree at FIT and pursuing an associate’s degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. My graduation year is 2024.
I have always had a passion for fashion, but in high school, I learned more about the link between sustainability and the industry. Towards the end of my high school career, I had an internship that solidified my desire to be involved in the sustainable fashion community. I see the importance of intention behind clothing.
I carried this interest into college and got involved which led me to gain extraordinary experiences and skills. I have experience in merchandising, photography, leadership roles, retail, and teamwork. I am eager to share my knowledge and gain more experiences that align with my major.
